I cannot say enough good things about Michael! I booked off of vibes, he had the best, and his “me but better” philosophy. I’ve never had great experiences with other people doing my hair and makeup so I was worried about finding the right fit for my wedding. Michael made me feel comfortable from the start! From our consultation to trial and then I had him do a pre-wedding event before the wedding as well. Not only did both hair and make up hold through hours of dancing and sweating at both events, but it photographed so well! I can’t recommend him enough! I’m just sad that I don’t have anymore events coming up to work with him! Thank you so so so much, Michael!! ❤️

Michael did such a fantastic job and was a pleasure to deal with. From the trial, through to our wedding day, he was open to collaborating on our plan, punctual and professional, and such a great vibe. The hair and make-up were perfect and did not budge. I felt amazing and still looked like myself, but elevated - exactly what we were aiming for!

Michael and Suzanne did an amazing job with my hair and makeup. The curls held up for the whole evening and my makeup was nothing short of glamourous. The only problem I had was that the hair extensions were stuck to my head because there was a lot of hair spray in my hair. As a result, I had a very difficult time getting them out at the end of the night. Thank you for your professionalism, expertise and commitment to making my wedding day a memorable one!

Not only did Michael absolutely blow it out of the water with my wedding hair/makeup (I got compliments all dayyyy), he is extremely thorough and professional. I don’t believe you can experience any communication gaps with him as he has SYSTEMS in place! An automated email goes out to remind you of important dates, to ask for feedback, and to give you general advice. I will recommend Michael to anyone I know who is getting married and Michael, if you’re reading this– I don’t know if I can ever thank you enough. You’re the absolute best ❤️❤️❤️

I cannot say enough good things about Michael and his colleagues Elena and Nazzi. They did my hair and makeup for our small, legal ceremony and party the next day. It was exactly as we had discussed and my Mom and sister were also so happy with their looks. We got so many compliments and I felt so good throughout both events. A friend of mine who is getting married later this year and who told me about Michael and his team said seeing how great our makeup looked reinforced she'd made the right choice for her wedding too! Nazzi and Elena brought great vibes to the space and we all (me, my sister and Mom) were saying we felt like something was missing Sunday when we weren't getting dolled up. Thank you again for all the care and attention to detail when it came to planning ahead of the wedding. My husband (!!!) even hung out with us the second day as we were getting ready for the reception and had a great time.

Michael did my bridal makeup, as well as several of my bridal party’s hair and his associate did many of their makeup looks. He also did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos! He was great at talking us all through what to expect and providing suggestions as needed, kept everything running on time, and everyone felt and looked fantastic day-of. I would hire him again!

We had a great experience working with this team for a recent event in Toronto. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally from start to finish. A special mention to Presley, who was the makeup artist on site — she was absolutely fantastic. Very professional, attentive, and a pleasure to work with. Our team and clients truly appreciated her presence. Highly recommend, and we look forward to working together again on future events!

Michael and his team were nothing short of amazing. Michael is efficient, professional and extremely organized, which made wedding planning just a little bit easier. We were assigned Karla, Jay and Suzanne and they did a fantastic job on our hair and make-up. Our hair stayed in place the entire evening and our make up didn't smudge once. They were also super fun and personable and made our getting ready a little party on it's own. The look I had imagined for my wedding day truly came to life. If I could do it all over again, I would hire Michael's team without hesitation.

Amazing experience. Micheal made me feel so comfortable on my wedding day. I don’t usually wear makeup and he managed to make me feel and look beautiful while still being myself. My makeup lasted all night and it looked great! He also handled my hair super well, and there was a lot of hair to handle! I highly recommend him and his team!

Michael did such a good job on my hair and makeup for my wedding! He took the time to understand the look I was going for and after the trial makeup I had like 1 tweak I wanted and he remembered no problem the day of the wedding. I appreciated that he asked about the "vibe" I was hoping for on the morning of my wedding and he helped make sure it was the calm experience I wanted. I have sensitive eyes and need specific eye makeup products and Michael was understanding and open to using products that I purchased since it was what I needed in order to be comfortable. He also did an amazing job on my hair and it stayed curled the entire day which is a FEAT for hair like mine. And my veil stayed in place the entire day even when dancing! Also he showed up on time for both the makeup trial and the wedding day. Anyway- he's basically the best and I 10/10 recommend him.

*Writing a wedding review from my husband's account :)* I dreaded picking a hair and makeup artist for my wedding and as someone who rarely wears makeup, I had no idea where to start. I delayed and delayed, which led me to a bit of a time crunch. Thankfully, Michael Fels Beauty was available and one of the best choices I made for my wedding. From the very beginning, Michael made me feel completely at ease. During my consult, he asked what my worries were right away, really listened, and then put a clear plan in place to address them. That level of care and professionalism immediately gave me confidence that I was in the right hands. He also gave a real take on how many artists I would need for the number of people I wanted services for, whereas it felt like some other places I contacted were trying to sell me when they may not have enough people to get the job done right. My makeup artist was Suzanne, and she was absolutely wonderful. I was nervous about my makeup looking cakey or flaky, especially because I normally don’t wear skin makeup and I’ve honestly never liked how it’s looked on me in the past when I've been in weddings. At my trial, I was genuinely blown away. My skin looked glowy, fresh, and natural, exactly what I had hoped for but didn’t think was possible for me. I even wore the makeup for my bridal shower in 30-degree heat and it held up beautifully all day, which felt like a miracle. On the wedding day, it was just as perfect. My makeup looked amazing from start to finish, photographed beautifully, and still felt like me. Suzanne was also so kind, genuine, and calming to be around. It was a pleasure talking with her at my trial and on wedding morning. My hair was done by Jiya, and she was every bit as kind and talented as Suzanne. She was so warm, down to earth, and easy to be with, and she absolutely nailed the look! The trial was a super helpful experience and well worth the money because it let me see what I liked and what I wanted tweaked, without any pressure. After the trial, Michael did a great job soliciting feedback and making sure every detail was noted so that on the wedding day everything would be perfect. I appreciated how seamlessly the team integrated my feedback. There was no awkwardness, no resistance, just a clear goal of getting everything exactly how I wanted it. On the wedding day, I truly loved my hair and makeup. Everything was perfect. The team was also amazing with my friends and family members. Everyone felt comfortable and happy. The results were consistently natural and pretty without being over the top. They were efficient and organized, and with the help of an additional artist who kept things moving, we were all ready on time without feeling rushed. Thank you for the hair and makeup for my sister Ivy's wedding! Michael and his assistant had such great senses of humour and were super fun and comforting to be around for the process of becoming "ourselves but better".

I hated planning a wedding and got to a point where I was purely hiring vendors on vibes because I was so tired of researching and planning and comparing.... When I first met with Michael, I knew his stunning work spoke for itself but it was truly his energy and vibes that made me go, "yep, gonna need this man right here on wedding day." Fast forward to wedding day, I was a mess - tired, emotional and overwhelmed and the way Michael and his entire team (shout out to Presley, Jiya and Carley) brought lightness, and joy and positivity and fun to the morning, was everything! They were prepared to work with all hair types and textures and made all my girls look so beautiful. Easily one of the best decisions I made for myself that day. Also - come on, he made this rag doll look like a god damn princess. 15/10 recommend Michael and team. Just so thankful!

We were so pleased with Michael and his team. Everything was clear and professional from the beginning. The morning of was exactly how I wanted it; calm, warm and positive. Lovely, personable, caring team! There were a few of us in the party who were apprehensive about getting made up too “cakey” and the Fels Team knocked it out of the park! Not too cakey, just the perfect amount of makeup to enhance our features, make us picture perfect, and the makeup lasted through quite a bit of tears on the big day.
