Michael was a pleasure to work with. As a COVID bride trying to plan a wedding from another city, I couldn't have asked for a better person to guide me on my journey. These are the highlights for me: - Michael is prepared. He is so knowledgable in makeup, wedding makeup, what to expect on the day of the wedding, self-care, skin-care... he's thought of everything I would never think of in preparation for the big day. - Michael communicates very well. It's like he sets up notifications for different check-in points leading up to the wedding. I never had to reach out to him, he was always the first to reach out to me and help me out. - He's just a pleasure to talk to. Michael listens. He sincerely wanted to learn about me, about my goals, and he wanted to collaborate with me to find a direction that suited my personality. I really appreciated that since I'm someone who never wears makeup. - Michael follows up. He totally made sure the ball wasn't dropped and that I was ready for everything coming - I felt less nervous with his guidance! The artists that worked with me and my bridal party were Beatrice and Kareena. They were both on time and showed up with such positive energy - they were so natural for us to be around and we had a great time. They were both organized and efficient as well. Kareena did makeup and hair for the bridal party and everyone looked gorgeous. Thanks Kareena! Beatrice worked on my bridal makeup and I can't thank her enough for how in love with my own face I was! She listened to every adjustment I wanted to make, she came with suggestions that I sincerely loved, she was so open to change, being flexible and trying things out. The best compliment was my husband at the end of the day saying, "You looked stunning. You looked like yourself." Thank you so much Beatrice! Overall everyone at Michael Fels Beauty including Michael were such a joy to work with. I didn't have to worry about anything. I knew they were thinking about all the details that I might have overlooked (how will makeup look in edited photos? how will makeup look in natural light? how can we make the look last? Here, have this touchup kit! etc. etc.) and I completed trusted them through the process. Thanks Michael, Beatrice and Kareena!

Michael and his team at Michael Fels Beauty were truly wonderful to work with, and I'm so happy that I chose them for my makeup services for my wedding this past June. I found Michael through a Google search, and his website immediately resonated with me and from our first conversation I had a good vibe, and there after they exceeded my every expectation. Michael was communicative, responsive and well organized. I truly felt he understood what I was seeking. He helped to find the perfect artist match for me, and Kareena did an outstanding job for myself, mother and maid of honour. Michael was absolutely amazing! He made the entire process extremely smooth. I had emailed him in search for makeup and hair for my wedding. He responded quickly and his emails were so detailed! We then had a phone conversation and he asked me all the right questions. The makeup was absolutely beautiful and lasted the entire night in the heat! I generally don't wear too much makeup on a daily basis and he made me look natural but also glamed up at the same time, truly a talent. My hair was also very natural and he was so talented in making my beautiful beach waves! He was very professional and I had a lovely time chatting with him. Michael is amaaaaaaazing!! As a wedding photographer I've had the privilege of working with him at two weddings now and both of my brides looked amazing all day long! I would recommend him in a heartbeat. He is also just wonderful company to have in the room. His Covid protocols were top notch as well and he is incredibly professional to correspond with. Michael was my hair and makeup artist for my wedding in September 2020 and made the experience so fun! As a black woman, it was important to me to find someone who was confident working with curly hair and had experience with doing makeup on a variety of skin tones and I felt immediately comfortable. I had my hair done slightly differently to my trial and Michael was willing to be flexible and work this out. Highly recommend!

I hired Michael for one of my photography clients through finding him on his website and talking to him I knew right away that he was the right fit. Michael was so friendly, professional, easy to talk to, and knowledgable about his craft. I knew I was in the right hands.
